Sexual Abuse and Domestic Violence

Leeway is a local specialist domestic abuse charity supporting women and children. Nationally, Refuge is committed to a world where domestic violence is not tolerated and where women and children can live in safety.

One in Four offers a voice to and support for males and females who have experienced sexual abuse and sexual violence.

The Trauma and Abuse Support Centre (TASC) provide a UK web-based resource for survivors of the whole spectrum of child sexual abuse (including extreme and ritual abuse) and for anyone involved in supporting them, including family, friends, therapists and churches.

The Lantern Project provides help and support for survivors of sexual abuse including a survivor’s online forum.

The Rape Crisis (England and Wales) (RCEW) website has information about how to get help if you've experienced sexual violence, including details of your nearest Rape Crisis organisation; information for friends, partners, family and other people supporting or wanting to help a sexual violence survivor; more information about rape and other forms of sexual violence, including reports and stats that might be of use and interest to students, journalists etc.; more about RCEW and its members, including latest news and how to support our work.

The Harbour Centre is a Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Norfolk providinga range of services for people who are victim of rape, attempted rape or assault by penetration.

Survivors in Transition is a voluntary run drop in centre for female survivors of childhood sexual abuse and they also have a drop in centre in Ipswich.
