Lay Member (Chair)
Cedric Burton’s background is principally in Defence where he spent more than 30 years as a soldier in operational deployments, equipment acquisition, strategy development and organisational change.
Melanie joined the NHS in 1999 after completing an MSc in Health Promotion Sciences at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has held a variety of senior positions across the NHS, most recently as Chief Officer for NHS Southend CCG.
Deputy Chief Executive, Director of Commissioning
Cath trained as a registered nurse and specialised in Critical Care Nursing. She has a wide range of experience in quality, safety and educational roles with the NHS.
Chief Financial Officer
Originally from Southampton, John is a graduate of Trinity College Cambridge and has worked in senior financial roles across the NHS since 2002. Most recently he was head of financial strategy and allocations for NHS England.
Now retired Robert is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, a Chartered IT Professional and has an MBA from Nottingham University. He has lived almost all his life in Suffolk.
Secondary Care Clinician
David is a retired consultant physician who worked at the James Paget University hospital for 25 years until his retirement in 2008.
