When a healthcare service is changed, a new service may be offered or an existing service may be moved to a new location we want your views. This process is called a public consultation.
As part of all public consultations there is a questionnaire you can complete to let us know your views. You can also email or post your thoughts to us. If you don’t want to write down your views you can voice your thoughts at one of the public meetings we hold.
With every consultation we work hard to ensure that we hear the views of everybody. Whilst we try and reach as wide an audience as possible we also work hard to engage specific groups or communities around issues that will affect them.
This has included using advocates to work with people with learning disabilities around changes to residential services, working with the Youth Advisory Board in Great Yarmouth and Waveney Youth Council around child and adolescant mental health services working as part of the Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) to engage people with mental health issues in a 'Breaking the mould' event.
Consultation documents and questionnaires are sent “far and wide” through community groups who will share these with members of the public.
And the questionnaires about each consultation are available through this website.
If you have an opinion on healthcare please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01502 719500 and ask to speak to a member of the Engagement Team.
