Clinical staff who have some contact with children and their carers, such as practice nurses, healthcare assistants

Clinical staff who have regular contact with children and their carers such as GPs, nurse practitioners, nurses providing CASH for under 16s

6 hours over 3 years (2 hours per year)
GP Practice Safeguarding Children Leads and Deputies

12 hours over 3 years (4 hours per year)

To support GPs and clinicians working in general practice, the Designated Safeguarding Children Team provide two 3 hour general core level 3 safeguarding children workshops in each CCG area per year. Places are limited by venue size and booking is essential. Confirmation of place, resources and joining instructions are sent out prior to the course.

These sessions are free of charge to clinicians working in NHS general practice in Norfolk and Waveney.
